A Note from Mrs. Kaber:

I am so thankful for the partnership in your children's education! I have wonderful families that I am working with, and I am blown away with all of the support. This has been a wonderful school year so far, and I would not be able to do it without your help!

Food Drive

Thanks to our Mission + Outreach Team, we are once again teaming up with Webster Gardens as they work to support the food pantry at St. John’s Lutheran Church in South St. Louis. During the week of October 30th, we will be collecting SPECIFIC items St. John’s has requested. Each K-8 homeroom will be assigned specific items to contribute, and early childhood classes can focus on canned fruits and vegetables. See below for what specific items your child can bring to school:
  • ECE - canned fruits or vegetables
  • Mrs. Ogden - canned vegetables
  • Mrs. Kaber - canned milk
  • Mrs. Fisk - pork and beans
  • Mrs. Nummela - canned pasta
  • Mrs. Ladd - canned fruit
  • Mrs. Boone - canned chili
  • Ms. Mackenzie - condiments (jelly, peanut butter, ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise)
  • Mrs. Hussey - canned or jar pasta sauce
  • Mrs. Glackin- canned meat
  • Mr. Schultz - cereal
  • Ms. Leible - canned fruit or vegetables
  • Mrs. Beck - canned milk
  • Mr. Hieber - pork and beans
  • Mrs. Teasdale - canned pasta or canned or a jar pasta sauce
  • Mr. Spangler - canned meat
  • Mr. Bernau - canned chili
  • Mr. Fiala - condiments

November 1st- The kindergarten classes will celebrate the 50th Day of School with a Sock Hop. Your student may wear 50s attire and we will dance to some 50s songs. We would love to have an ice cream sundae to celebrate as well. If you would like to donate toppings or ice cream cups, let me know. The kids would love it!

November 17thFriendsgiving Sign Up

December 20th- The kindergarten classes are leading the Advent Chapel that morning. Each child will play an important role in leading worship. You are invited to come to chapel and watch at 8:25 am.

*If there are any crafty families that would like to help with costumes
(Mary, Joseph, Wise men, shepherds, angels etc.) let me know! We borrow from Pre-K but would like our own to use year after year.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out!

In Him,

Mrs. Kaber
