A Note from Mrs. Kaber:

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend full of Restoration. We have some exciting events happening in the next few weeks, so keep an eye out for more information coming soon! Mrs. Ogden and I are working on securing dates for our Field Trips. Once we know the rest of the dates, we will let you know! We usually send out a form a couple weeks before the date asking for volunteers to come help with groups. Keep an eye out for those!

Author Visit- We are so excited to be able to bring Jared Chapman to school on Tuesday, September 5th! If you would like to order one of his books, click the order form below.

Wheel-a-Thon- Our Kindergarten classes will be hosting our annual Wheel-a-thon on September 25th from 9:30-10:30 am. Each child can bring a bike, scooter, roller-skates or anything with wheels to help raise money to sponsor a child to go to school. With your help, we are trying to raise over $250 per class. We will be sending home information with a money envelope for people to sponsor your child in the wheel-a-thon. Our goal is at least $10 per child to reach our sponsor goal. Ask grandparents, coworkers, family, and friends and see how many people can help with our kindergarten project! If you would like to come and cheer on our kindergarteners as we make laps around the parking lot, feel free to help make signs and assist with pulling bikes etc out to the parking lot. We can't wait!

Optional Homework- Each week your student will start receiving some optional work with heart words or flash words and some fluency passages etc. If you would like to complete the work with your child, they can earn punches on their punch cards. I don't have a deadline for the homework. Your child can work at their own pace. Your child will also receive a reading log. Each night your child looks at books, gets read to, or reads to themselves, they can color in a picture (1 per night). At the end of the month, they can turn it in for a prize!

All About Me Poster and Family pictures- Please get these in as soon as possible. Thanks!

Chapel Offering Envelopes- Every week a white envelope is sent home in your child's folder. If you would like to bring in a chapel offering on Wednesdays, the money received goes to CCLS Uganda.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out!

In Him,

Mrs. Kaber
